For the love of God, woman - don't look at the menu, just look at the name ...

Much apologies for the radio silence - I've been in Burma for the past two weeks with zero access to interwebs, phone or newspapers.

Lots to tell you about, but in the meantime, I give you the lovely little restaurant above.

I can't help but wonder if the owners have ever actually seen the film ...

Hahahaha! Weirdly, I went out for dinner the other night, and as I was dithering over the pork cheek (oh, I love a cheek) and the monkfish, I compared my dilemma to Sophie's Choice. Maybe their menu is SO good, you're torn apart emotionally just trying to decide what to order. I can't say that's an experience I would enjoy.

Oh dear. I hope that old woman is okay. She looks sweet.

I went to this restaurant many years ago in the nineties when I worked in a university computer centre. When they told me the name of the place, I told the woman organising it that I thought it was very dodgy. She said, "Oh, don't worry Ivan, they don't dress up as nazis or anything."
I could never forget it, but didn't expect it to still be here after all these years!
